Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is returning this Halloween season at Walt Disney World! Running for 38 nights, the Halloween party at Magic Kingdom will take place on select dates from August 15th to October 31st from 7pm to midnight.
Disney Parks Blog announced the return of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party May 12th. Guests are encouraged to wear Halloween costumes and enjoy event-exclusive entertainment, spooky decor, rides and attractions - including a few with Halloween overlays, delicious sweets and treats, trick-or-treating, special Disney character appearances, photo opportunities, exclusive merchandise, and more.
New additions to the party this year include Mickey and Minnie Mouse meeting together in their Halloween outfits for the first time at Town Square Theater and a new look for Jack Skellington. More Disney Villains will be found at the party on trick or treat trails and may even be roaming around Magic Kingdom. There will be a new dance party at Rockettower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland, the ZOMBIES Dance Party, inspired by the Disney Channel Original Movie ZOMBIES 4: Dawn of the Vampires. Additionally, Storybook Circus will transform into a Halloween area for families with younger children. This year, for the first time ever, ticket prices are over $200 for eight of the party dates in October. We will be sure to update here with any new and exciting news over the next few months!
MNSSHP is my favorite event of the year! We will have our video guide up on YouTube once the Halloween Party food guide arrives on Disney Parks Blog. The ghostly barbershop quartet will be performing during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween party in Frontierland with set times at 7pm, 7:45pm, 8:45pm, 9:35pm, and 10:30pm. As always, I would check the My Disney Experience app during your party to confirm set times as they are subject to change.
Hitchhiking Ghosts
Debuting as a surprise last year, the Hitchhiking Ghosts from The Haunted Mansion appeared during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween party in Frontierland, rotating sets with The Cadaver Dans. This year, Mickey and Minnie Mouse will be meeting together in their Halloween costumes for the first time ever during the party. More Disney Villains will be around Magic Kingdom. Disney Parks Blog says you may see “new and returning Disney Villains appear as you creep by through the streets” so this could be more of a distanced experience or roaming characters rather than being in a set location, or they could have traditional meet and greets. Additionally, characters have been announced to be found along trick-or-treat trails in 2025 with more details coming soon.
