January 1st

• Blizzard Beach water park closed for refurbishment - no ending date announced yet

January 2nd

• Typhoon Lagoon water park reopening

January 4th

• Expedition Everest at Disney’s Animal Kingdom closed for lengthy refurbishment - until mid-April

January 5th - January 9th

January 9th

• Six limited-time Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Menu Items Leaving

January 10th

• New Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Treats Arriving

• Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure Ends Virtual Queue- Moves to Standby Line

• Splash Mountain in Magic Kingdom closed for refurbishment - until February 10th

January 14th

• EPCOT International Festival of the Arts begins - until February 21st

January 23rd

• Disney Skyliner Transportation closed for refurbishment - until January 28th
